Question

I have created users on the twiki part of my website. When I click on Login in the top left had side of the page which sends me to the page: /twiki/bin/login/Main/WebHome?origurl=/twiki/bin/view I can use the WikiName and password I have created successfully.

But when I try to edit a page (by clicking the "Edit" link on the top right hand side of the page) it prompts me with a window saying Authentification Required, Enter username and password for "Enter your WikiName: (first name and last name, no space, no dot...). When I enter the same details it says Error 401 and denies access.

Does anyone know why this might be doing this?

I have checked the .htpasswd in the /www/twiki/data/ folder and the details of my twiki name and encrypted password are there.

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Thanks.
