Question

I am running into the same problem as described in UsernameMappingBrokeAfterUpgradeTo02Sep2004 I noticed that the page says this is fixed (I assume in the svn version), but it gives no description of how to fix it in the existing release. Can someone give me a hint or a pointer?

(note: I tried searching the wiki site and browsing around for about an hour, but I can't find the information. I must just be looking in the wrong spots.

Answer

I finally just traced through the code and found that the problem was the "doMapUserToWikiName" setting in my TWiki.cfg file. I don't know if the upgrade switched it to "0" or what, but I just needed to set it back to "1".
