Question

Modifying linking to non-existant topics

I want to link everyone who wants to create a topic to the WebCreatorTopic where everyone has to choose a parent and a template for his new topic.

But what do I have to do when I want this to happen when someone is clicking on an Wikiword-Link to a not yet existing page? By default the user gets straight to the edit mode but I want him to get to the WebCreatorTopic first.

I haven't found any documentation for this case...

Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

That is currently hard-coded. You'd need to change sub _renderNonExistingWikiWord in lib/TWiki/Render.pm. You can submit a feature request (and supply a patch?)
