Question

Is there a way to create multiple "WebOrder" pages for the "TocPlugin"? For example, in my DOCSWiki I have many topics which may be included in one of several books. I am currently creating a Security Book, so I would like a "WebOrderSecurityGuide" and maybe a "WebOrderNetworkingHandbook" and so on.

I'm guessing the answer is that I would need to create a different wiki branch for each book...

I was also looking at the Index plugin, but I couldn't figure out how that would save me time over manually creating my Book "table of contents" (i.e. hierarchical index) and then using Forms to tag the book items to generate an alphabetical index.

Thanks.

Answer

I can't help you out with the TocPlugin, but here is some additional info that might be useful: You could manually maintain a master include page for each book. Chapter names do not change that often, that is, manually maintaining the master include page does not add too much overhead. Each chapter has a top level heading on top and sub headings. The master include page generates a TOC based on this. This is how the TWikiDocumentation works.
