Question

Hi,

I have problems with editing pages in my TWiki installation. I have installed (and enabled) NatSkinPlugin with all dependencies (including RedDotPlugin). The problem is that apart from wiki text edit area and 'more/less options' link nothing appears on edit pages. Please see the screenshot here: NatSkinEdit.png.

One more thing, which most likely is connected with the problem, is that FireBug shows the javascript error ('$ is not defined', WebHome line 119) on the pages of my wiki.

Thanks in advance for help, Artem.

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

I think you also need jquery for this to work as advertised.

Hi

After I have installed jQuery the javascript error is gone. But edit page still looks the same. Here is the list of plugins which I have currently installed:

  • BreadCrumbsPlugin
  • CommentPlugin
  • EditTablePlugin
  • EmptyPlugin
  • FilterPlugin
  • FlexWebListPlugin
  • GluePlugin
  • IfDefinedPlugin
  • InterwikiPlugin
  • JQueryPlugin
  • NatSkinPlugin
  • PreferencesPlugin
  • RedDotPlugin
  • RenderListPlugin
  • SlideShowPlugin
  • SmiliesPlugin
  • SpreadSheetPlugin
  • TablePlugin
  • TwistyPlugin
  • WysiwygPlugin

After I have installed NatEditContrib and set the value of SKIN variable in TWikiPreferences to 'natedit, nat' the buttons on edit page appeared. So the solution of the problem was: 1. to install JQueryPlugin (to get rid of javascript error) and 2. To install NatEditContrib

Hi,

Sorry, but it appears that I was too optimistic in my previous post. The buttons did appear on the edit page, but 'save' doesn't work. Each time I press it I get the javascript error document.EditForm has no properties (WebHome line 174)

The problem can be solved by setting SKIN = jquery, nat

Closing, question seems to be answered.

After installing the plugins I am getting following error

Line 41 char 3

Error: cant move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not accept the focus.

Based on previous posting I changed skin to "jquery, nat"

1.Nat plugin and dependencies are installed 2. Nat skin installed. 3. Jquery installed. 4. NatEdit is also installed, but some reason not showing up on plugin tab on preferences.

Env: windows, TWiki-4.2.0-rc2.zip, indigoperl-2005.02.zip

Any help on this highly appreciated. already spent lot of time on this.
