Question

I have created a new web that is restricted to a certain group. A particular user is on the group list but keeps getting access denied even though the WebPreferences file is modified for that group to have access.

Then I noticed that she is not showing up on the list of users either! I am wondering if this could be why she isn't getting access to that web.

She does have a personal TWiki Topic so she's in the system somehow. Any ideas?

Update - I think I may have found the problem. Somehow the file TWikiUsers.txt lost it's write permissions! I CHMOD'd the file back to writable and I was now able to manually add her to the list of users. My guess is that this will allow her to access the restricted area.

This is odd because other users had previously been able to register and show up on the list. Not sure how permissions could have changed, but there you go.
