Question

I installed the latest RenderListPlugin.

When I try to use it, it does not work. I see the %RenderList on the displayed page instead of it taking effect.

On the RenderListPlugin topic on the examples section, "if installed" is not like the simulated example.

Answer

RenderListPlugin is one of the default shipped plugins, and actually it should have been "just working" in the default state of a 4.0.2 installation.

I have uploaded a new version which is 4.0.2 compatible, so you can either upgrade your installation with that - or just bring in the RenderListPlugin files from the 4.0.2 distribution archive again.

Is it enabled in configure ?

It was not enabled, and I used a downloaded version, and the file permissions (owner) was incorrect.

I enabled, restored from distro and fixed perms and now it works.
