Question

I want to save a page with content containing "pre", "code", "ul/li" tags. However, all attempts to save or preview fail with

"412 Precondition Failed" "The precondition on the request for the URL /twiki/bin/save.cgi/Main/IntroWSAddressing evaluated to false"

If I remove all tags I do not see the failure.

Why is this happening? What is the fix to address it?

Charlton, this is something to do with your Apache configuration and nothing to do with TWiki. See http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html - your webserver has some sort of precondition that is applying to you.
