Question

Problems loading up AutoNavigationPlugin, I am using Twiki at work as a Knowledgebase, but I am having difficulty loading the autonav bar.. I have followed the installation instructions, but still no joy..

I have loaded unzipped all required files, cpan modules etc altered permissions, inserted variables & Table. Inserted the tag %AUTONAV% to the leftbar, it does not appear in the bar on a normal screen only within Raw edit, therefore it seems to pick it up but the bar does not expand at all, there is no list of pages viewed or anything!

I have looked in the error.log, no errors are being recorded. I have looked at all material provided by yourselves still unable to resolve problem.

Please can someone assist me asap! Thanks

Please can someone respond to my query regarding Auto Navigation Plugin

Thanks

Does your local TWiki.InstalledPlugins lists the plugin and/or shows any errors?

-- OliverKrueger - 15 Oct 2008

No! Nothing seems to happen appart from the following For some apparent reason AutoNavigation plugin is causing problems for another plugin.

I have also loaded Web permissions Plug-in onto our knowledgebase, when I edit permissions I get the following error message:

Software error: No configuration table found at /var/www/twiki/lib/TWiki/Plugins/AutoNavigationPlugin.pm line 148.

For help, please send mail to the webmaster (you@examplePLEASENOSPAM.com), giving this error message and the time and date of the error.

The only error I recieve in Twiki.installedplugins is the following, but on Batch upload:

TWiki::Plugins::BatchUploadPlugin could not be loaded. Any response to this issue?

-- JasHeer - 03 Dec 2008

TWiki is open source software. You can ask, but you can't expect free support. You may get it if someone feels like. To get a timely fix you could hire one of the consultants.

-- PeterThoeny - 04 Dec 2008

Thanks for the update, I will look into hiring a consultant! But I would appreciate any help in the mean while from any one!

-- JasHeer - 04 Dec 2008

"Can't locate IO/Compress/Base/Common.pm" means a perl module is missing ... you will have to install the missing perl module - perl-IO-Compress-Base - either with ppm or with your linux distribution's package manager. Also note that the Autonav plugin is not twiki 4.2 aware yet.

-- OlivierThompson - 22 Dec 2008

See HowToInstallCpanModules.

Closing this question after more than 30 days of inactivity. Feel free to reopen if needed. Consider engaging one of the TWiki consultants if you need timely help. We invite you to get involved with the community, it is more likely you get community support if you support the open source project!
