Answer

For a topic that is in the distribution, visit the TWiki04 web and copy the raw text from the topic you need. For instance: copy the contents of http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/TWiki04/WebIndex?raw=on into your WebIndex topic.

For topics that are unique to your site, go to the "More topic actions" page to the heading "View previous topic revision". Select the previous version and check "in raw text format". Copy the text, edit the topic and replace all text with the text in your clipboard.

Make sure to remove spam completely. Do not just overwrite it because spammers will still be able to find your site. Any site that has spam is a likely target for further spam since it is considered an easy target.

Also, upgrade your site with the latest BlackListPlugin version 02 Jun 2006 to combat HtmlAttachmentSpam.

Just be aware that this technique only works with topics that contain only text; that is, it won't work for topics that include forms, for example. It will work with your WebIndex page, however.
