Question

Changing the name of a web containing some child webs seems to dirsupt all the links pointing to the child webs pages.

Example: a web named Parentweb containing a child web named Childweb, in the WebHome of Parentweb there is a link to Parentweb.Childweb.SomePage; if you rename the Parentweb in Newparentweb the link becomes Newparentweb.SomePage instead of Newparentweb.Childweb.SomePage

You should follow the development on Bugs:Item5458

The basic problem is already solved with the patch in the bug item but there are still some cases where the renaming fails
