Question

Hi. I've been running TWiki for a few weeks now and, for the most part, am very pleased with it. The one missing feature that I'd really like to see is the ability to associate a comment with an edit that would then show up in the revision history and also in the mail that is generated by the mailnotify script.

I scanned the list of plugins and didn't see anything applicable. Has anyone looked into adding revision comments? Are there technical limitations (e.g. with RCS) that would prevent it from being done?

Thanks for your help.

Answer

This is currently a feature request: AddCheckInComment

I just installed RevCommentPlugin which does the job. It does not currently support saving comments in revision history but a future release is supposed to.
