SID-00127: Fire Fox wont open links

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: Perl version:

When using Fire Fox, links that I have placed on the twiki page wont open but if I use Internet Explorer those same links will open. Have you heard of this before? What can I do to fix this problem?

Discussion and Answer

The only issue I'm aware of are local links (starting with file://) which Firefox considers to be insecure in its default settings. There is a work-around:

thank you very much, i will try that because most of my links are local files.
