We installed the
ActionTrackerPlugin. I set up some cronjobs following the examples at
http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/Plugins/ActionTrackerPlugin#Notification
.
Now, we are receving email and bounces for tasks assigned to
TWikiUser and
AlistairDarling. This is because ''actionnotify'' is seeing the example tasks assigned to the users
TWikiUser and
AlistairDarling, in the
ActionTrackerPlugin documentation.
What is the best way to turn off these emails?

Discussion and Answer
You can specify which webs
actionnotify scans. E.g., I have users with personal to do lists on their Main pages. So (on Windows) the script called by the scheduled task (analagous to cron) looks like this:
REM MondayJob.bat
cd /d D:\Prd\TWiki\bin
perl D:\Prd\TWiki\tools\actionnotify "web=\"Tech\" state=\"open\""
perl D:\Prd\TWiki\tools\actionnotify "web=\"Main\" state=\"open\""
Alternatively, use the plugin's NOSEARCHALL to exclude the TWiki web.

Thanks. I opted for the 'NOSEARCHALL' fix to disable this on the
ActionTrackerPlugin page only.
