hi all,
i installed the twiki 4.3 , configuration all went fine but wen i try to register it says
Error registering user ManuMahendran
There has been a problem adding your user id to the Password system.
and in the warninglog file i found
"Registration failed: illegal characters in file name component Program Files of filename C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/cgi-bin/twiki/data/Main/TWikiUsers.txt,v at c:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2/cgi-bin/twiki/lib/TWiki/Sandbox.pm line 156."

I am not so familiar with TWiki install on Windows, but the spaces in the path might be the cause of the issue. Also, for security, I do not recommend to put the TWiki data and pub directory below the cgi-bin. Imagine if someone attaches a script and then executes it on the server!
I suggest to follow
TWiki04x02WindowsInstallationGuide, or to install TWiki on a Linux VM using VMware on Windows.
