SID-00442: White space to the left of topbar logo

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.3.1 Perl version:
Category: CategorySkin Server OS: Ubuntu 9.04 Last update: 16 years ago

I can't seem to figure out why there is about a 10 pixel section of white space to the left of my logo on the topbar. I was able to get rid of the padding above and below my logo but I would love some direction on whats going on with the left side there. thanks!

Discussion and Answer

That depends on the skin used. For PatternSkin see #patternTopBar and #patternTopBarContents in twiki/pub/TWiki/PatternSkin/style.css.

Don't modify style.css directly. Learn in PatternSkinCssCookbook how to selectively override css. This avoids headaches on a later upgrade.
