Hello,
I am using TWiki 4.3.2 on Windows XP. I want to set up a poll with
CommentPlugin because I can't get
PollPlugin to work.
I would to have something like the Appraisal for Plugins in the end, but I can't use the
ExtensionAppraisal for
CommentPlugin because of missing template
ExtensionAppraisalPoll.
Where can I get this Template? And can someone describe the way this Extension works to me (only very short)?
Thank you for your help.

Discussion and Answer
Hi Maria,
You can have a customized poll. All you need to do is define custom templates. To Define custom templates, follow below procedure.
1. Go to TWiki web in your local TWiki installation.
2. Go to CommentPluginTemplate topic.
3. There will be a link to UserCommentsTemplate in the topic. Create this topic if it did not exist already.
4. Create a template with name "mycustomtemplate" or anyother name you like with details of how you want to give input and how you want to show output.
5. you can use call your custom template by writing
%COMMENT{type="mycustomtemplate"}%
in your page.
6. There are good examples of templates in
UserCommentsTemplate topic. You can see the raw source and copy them to your UserCommentsTemplate topic. You can find extension appraisal template too
Cheers!!!
