SID-00556: Different output using PublishWeb w. save/edit or re-publish

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.1.2 Perl version: 5.8.8
Category: PublishWebPlugin Server OS: kernel 2.6.24 Last update: 16 years ago

<!--
Please define the product name here:
   * Set ProductName = ExampleProduct
-->
---+ Product %ProductName%

All my pages are starting like this. When I edit and save the specific document, the PublishWeb generates a correct HTML page. If I use the re-publishing mechanism the HTML output will be not correct and will generate

<h1>Product %ProductName% </h1>
The variable is not replaced.

Any suggestions?

Discussion and Answer

It looks like %ProductName% is a preferences setting you defined on a page level. Define it in your publish web's WebPreferences and you should be OK.
