SID-00620: Forms and Include

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.2.0 Perl version: -
Category: CategoryForms Server OS: Linux Last update: 16 years ago

If I define a form as

Name Type Size Values Tooltip message Attributes
TestList1 select 6 %INCLUDE{"TestList"}% TestList1
TestList2 select %INCLUDE{"TestSize"}% %INCLUDE{"TestList"}% TestList2

with page TestList contains

Item 1, Item 2, Item 3, Item 4, Item 5, Item 6, Item 7, Item 8

and page TestSize contains

6

without any newline or spaces, the size of list box of TestList1 is 6, but the list box of TestList2 has default size. Why? Is this a bug?

BTW: I'm still waiting for TWikiCommunityGroup permission to create a feature request, see SID-00596.

Bug or feature request, this is debatable. The value of the size field does not seem to be interpreted. TWiki could be enhanced to do that.
