SID-00762: PDF Generation with Umlauts

The pdf generation feature is very nice, but unfortunately it does not seem to support (German) Umlaut characters.

Is there any way to support this?

Could you verify which PDF extension you are trying to install? There are several, such as GenPDFAddOn, EmbedPDFPlugin, GenPDFLatexAddOn, PdfPlugin. Then please open a new support question and provide details so that we can help you.
