We're in the processing of upgrading Twiki from Version 4.0 Tue, 04 Jul 2006 build 10807, Plugin API version 1.1 to TWiki-4.3.2, Wed, 02 Sep 2009, build 18148, Plugin API version 1.2. We have to move documentation from the old environment to the new environment.
In our testing, we have found that some of the documents cannot be successfully edited in the WYSIWYG editor. When trying to change colors, they will not save after editing. Changing colors by adding tags (%RED%, %ENDCOLOR%) will save but when you edit again, the color reverts back. Adding new documents in the new environment is not a problem. Pre-existing anchors seem to be misinterpreted also.
Any help you can give will be appreciated. Thanks.

Discussion and Answer
TWiki 4.0 used the Kupu WYSIWYG editor, TWiki 4.2 and later uses an improved WYSIWIG editor based on TinyMCE. There is a known issue with colors getting lost, see related support item
SID-00679.
