SID-00804: Twiki Recent Changes Always Returns 0 Results

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.3.2 Perl version: 5.10.0
Category: CategorySearch Server OS: Windows 2003 Last update: 15 years ago

All the webs on my server return 0 results under recent changes. Even if I have just saved a new topic revision.

Search in general works, I don't know why recent changes doesn't.

I tried this out on a fresh installation where everything was stock and got the exact same results when I tried to create a test object in the sandbox web.

Discussion and Answer

Recent changes is based on topic search with regular expression. You are on Windows. Make sure to use the Gnu tools of egrep and fgrep.

Facing the same issue. I have installed Grep but not able to find where to do the settings in Twiki 4.3.2 configuration page.
