SID-00910: Insert Table via Wysiwyg/TinyMCE does not work in Safari

Status: Unanswered Unanswered TWiki version: 5.0.0 Perl version: 5.10.1
Category: TinyMCEPlugin Server OS: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Last update: 15 years ago

Safari 5 (OSX 10.6.4) users can't insert tables using WYSIWYG editor (TinyMCEPlugin, I assume)

They get the popup with the fields for row/column/width/height, but clicking insert resets the form to defaults, doesn't close the window, and does not insert a table.

Editing existing tables appears to work, and when the same users use firefox (3.6.6) it is fine. Users have to create the table in raw mode then can edit the table in wysiwyg

Twiki install is 5.0.0 installed from tarball; only addition is LdapContrib.

Discussion and Answer

FYI, reproduced this against the twiki.org page using safari, so it's not just my install.
