I'm in the process of migrating my company's
SharePoint documentation site to TWiki. It just makes sense, the documents that my team works with are in constant need of updating and revision due to changing aspects in our field.
Right now, all of our documents are stored in Microsoft Word .DOC file format. I found the
Word2Twiki plugin at
MsWordToTWikiMLAddOn and with a few edits, I can make this macro work on individual documents.
However, I'm dealing with hundreds of documents. The process of converting each one, then uploading it and its associated images/attachments is daunting. Is there some way to do this in bulk?
If you have any stories to share about migrating from a
SharePoint site to TWiki, I'd also love to hear them.

Discussion and Answer
I am not aware of a ready made bulk conversion of Word docs into TWiki. It certainly would be a useful feature. May be you can sponsor the work with one of the
TWikiConsultants.
Here is how I would approach it: Use a Word doc to HTML converter. Feed that into a HTML to
TML converter. Link images properly. Put tthe resulting files into the TWiki directory tree. Send me an e-mail for more details.
