Hi,
I am new to Twiki and Linux as well.
I installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS
I wanted to Install Twiki 5.0
I was checking CPAN modules as per Twiki install doc
I was able to check the versions of Required CPAN modules and one of them didn't return the version for Time::Local
I tried to install it manually. After than I ran some cpan command based on some research on internet. I have no idea what happened. It asked me a few questions, I choose defaults and now I am in trouble.
When I try to use the per -e 'use
FileHandle....command as per doc for any CPAN module, it just returns blank.
I know that I have done a mistake somewhere, but not sure what I did not nor what the mistake is.
All I want now is for the system to just get back to its normal, and the CPAN thing as how it was with fresh install of Ubuntu. I tried reinstalling perl, but it says perl latest version is there.
Don't know how to get the CPAN thing like the way it was. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks Peter. I actually read the doc and followed the instructions. But I was so stressed, since this is the first day am working with Linux and all this is new that I forgot to do the reload cpan (can't believe spent 3 hours trying all and sundry) and this did the trick....
been on windows server for 10 yrs now, takes a bit to work with command lines....
Thanks again for being a catalyst to make me understand. I fixed the cpan installation and also seamlessly installed other cpan modules for twiki...
hats off to you...and look forward to lots of support from community in future too :))
