SID-01335: How to get author META information

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.0.1 Perl version:
Category: CategoryRendering Server OS: SLEs Last update: 14 years ago

I can view the author of a topic using the debug view but how do I get the author name rendered in a topic?

I have read all the docs related to META data but none specifiy how we can get the author information. The only way I could figure out was using a SEARCH.

Discussion and Answer

Indeed, you need a %SEARCH. It makes sense to enhance %META to support also author, date and version of last page update. Feel free to file an enhancement request, TWikiFeatureProposals. Ron you asked for support frequently, see also how to get involved.
