SID-01359: readonly option for twiki webs

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.1.0 Perl version: 5.8.8
Category: CategoryEditing Server OS: Linux Last update: 14 years ago

Hi,

I have defined Set READONLYSKINMODE = 1 in webpreferences of new TWiki Web. Somehow, it is still showing topic action links in the page bottom of new web.

Can you help me out to remove these links in page bottom bar. Do i need to set this up in any other web preference? Or is it normal behavior.

-Thanks, Srinivas.M

Discussion and Answer

This should work if you have TWiki-5.1.0 and set the READONLYSKINMODE to 1 in the WebPreferences of that web. make sure you have the setting defined as a real bullet, e.g. in raw edit: 3 spaces, an asterisk, a space, READONLYSKINMODE = 1
