SID-01505: Twiki counter increments by 8

Hi

The number of hits shown on the bottom of the page uses counter plugin. But everytime it is incremented by 8 instead of 1.So the count is not being showed correclty.

Please help me as how to correct this.

This plugin is likely buggy and counts the number of times page fragments are rendered. It needs to be fixed to increment the count in initPlugin subroutine.

Can you please let me know what change needs to be made in initPlugin subroutine. I do not know pearl scripting....
