SID-01527: Ordered List Rendering

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.0.1 Perl version: v5.8.8
Category: CategoryRendering Server OS: CentOS release 5.8 (Final), Kernel 2.6.18-308.4.1.el5 x86_64 Last update: 13 years ago

According to the documentation, if I want to create an ordered list with list numbering:

a. list item b. list item

I enter in raw mode the following:

  1. list item
  2. list item

When I save this I see the list properly rendered. However, when I then try to edit this page the list is reformatted as:

  1. list item
  2. list item

which renders as: 1. list item 2. list item

I notice this behavior on the twiki.org sandbox. Am I misunderstanding the text formatting?

Discussion and Answer

Known issue with IE-8 and IE-9. See TWikibug:Item6921.
