Hi,
I'm new with twiki and trying out things in the Sandbox. I would like to use Plugins that are not pre-installed. Is there a way of using/enabling/installing them without asking my admin every single time?
Best,
Marie

Discussion and Answer
Plugins are extensions only the site administrator can install, so you need to ask your admin to do that.
In contrast,
Applications run in TWiki pages and can be installed/created by anybody, e.g. you do not need the help or permission from your admin. You can try and copy/paste
Sandbox applications here on TWiki.org.
Some
AddOnPackages are also TWiki apps, such as the
ContactDbAddOn. You can download and unzip the package on your local machine, and create topics of the same name in your TWiki (and attach corresponding files if needed). An admin can install those add-ons more easily.
