SID-01621: Twiki-CentOS Mail&Proxy

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.1.3 Perl version: N/A
Category: Server OS: CentOS Last update: 13 years ago

Hi, Recently I have downloaded Twiki Virtual Machine, and configured the basics, What is the problem here is the Mail Setup. i have tried a week before that to configure but all was useless.

I have the settings like.

Updating configuration {WebMasterEmail} $TWiki::cfg{WebMasterEmail} = '<myid>@gmail.com'; {SMTP}{MAILHOST} $TWiki::cfg{SMTP}{MAILHOST} = 'smtp.gmail.com'; {SMTP}{SENDERHOST} $TWiki::cfg{SMTP}{SENDERHOST} = 'smtp.gmail.com'; {SMTP}{Username} $TWiki::cfg{SMTP}{Username} = '<myid>@gmail.com'; {SMTP}{Password} $TWiki::cfg{SMTP}{Password} = '*********';

But its not working, either fo ryahoo or gmail or my own domain's.

i have changed the

$TWiki::cfg{SMTP}{MAILHOST} = 'smtp.gmail.com';

but when i see /var/log/maillog

it shows a queued operation with relay = localhost.localdomain [1270.0.1]

Please help me to fix it out.

Discussion and Answer

Please don't cross-post, as I stated in SID-01618, smtp.gmail.com currently can't be used with TWiki.
