SID-01675: First time authentication

Hello my app show me this message when i try login but here's the problem on the first time that i try access my app i don't know what user and password.. I've created the user apache passwd = apache using this script htpasswd -c .htpasswd username but in the access the app bring me this message [error] [client IP] access to /bin/view/TWiki/TWikiRegistration failed, reason: require directives present and no Authoritative handler.

You do not need to manually create a .htpasswd file. The first time you run configure it will ask you for a password. Once configured, you can login to TWiki using user admin with the configure password. With this login you can register new users (including yourself). Details in TWikiInstallationGuide.

The require directives present and no Authoritative handler error indicates an issue with your apache configuration for TWiki. I recommend to use the ApacheConfigGenerator.

Peter thank you for the answer.. I've got some problems.. 1 - If i access the link "http://localhost/twiki/bin/configure i'm redirected to one page that show me the file configuration and not to login form. The login form is printed when i access the link "http://localhost/do/configure".. 2 - I've made te configuration of twiki.conf (/etc/httpd/conf.d/) using "http://twiki.org/cgi-bin/view/TWiki/ApacheConfigGenerator" and the only thing that i changed is TWiki directory to "/opt/twiki" and "NO PHP INSTALLED" 3 - After Delete the file .htpasswd in directory (/opt/twiki/data/). Acessing the page "http://localhost/do/configure" and viewing the log (/etc/httpd/logs/error_log) it brings me the following error: (2)No such file or directory: Could not open password file: /opt/twiki/data/.htpasswd access to /do/view/TWiki/TWikiRegistration failed, reason: verification of user id 'admin' not configured

When you run http://localhost/do/configure for the first time it will ask for a password. Once the configuration is done you can login to TWiki using user name admin and the configure password.

When I run the configure script for the first time, a dialog popup asks for username/password telling me to use my WikiName. This does not work. I have entered my WikiName with no password, with my Wiki Registered password, tried admin, root, my own linux os login, as well as several choice unmentionable words. Since I have not yet set a password and there is not .htpassed file, how do I get past this dialog so I can run the configure script?

Found the answer. I had inadvertently checked the Apache 2.4 or newer box which was incorrect. Unchecking this box, regenerating the twiki.conf and restarting httpd fixed the issue.
