SID-01744: Topmenu and bredcrumbs are not work together.

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 5.1.3 Perl version: 5.10
Category: CategorySkin Server OS: CentOs 5 Last update: 10 years ago

I am new to TWiki, as I have set topmenu in my application but due to the topmenu setting my breadcrumb gets lost from every page. I need to show both breadcrumbs and topmenu togeher. Only one is working at a time.

How can I used both together?

Discussion and Answer

FYI, the top-menu has an embedded breadcrumb. For example, Support Web > P > P > View shows that the current topic (indicated by "View") has a parent and a grand-parent (the "P"), located in the "Support" web. Hover over the Ps or the View to get topic name and other info.

If you want the traditional breadcrumb you need to overload the topmenu skin. Read the docs in TopMenuSkin and PatternSkin.
