Is there a way to achieve this and also prioritize results by relevance?
I've long heard about plugins for kinosearch and lucene but having first used Twiki 5.1, neither of the plugins around these searches has been available. Why did these stop development 5+ years ago?
What are my options? Some of the features in 6.0 are attractive and I would prefer to upgrade to this platform.
For reference I am using the VMware virtual machine image available for download.
Thanks in advance.

Discussion and Answer
Some midsize and larger companies use their internal search solution to index their TWiki server among other enterprise data. This can be Google Search Appliance, HP Autonomy, etc.
The most used search integration for TWiki was the
SearchEngineKinoSearchAddOn. It has not been updated for quite some time now as you stated. If you find a feature you miss in TWiki, you can either do the enhancements and contribute them back, or
hire a TWiki consultant to do that for you. TWiki is open source software, this is how you can support the community!
