SID-02054: TWiki upgrade

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.2.3 Perl version: 5.10.1
Category: CategoryInstallation Server OS: Debian Squeeze Last update: 10 years ago

Hi, I would like to upgrade existing TWiki-4.2.3, Wed, 06 Aug 2008, build 17396, Plugin API version 1.2 to latest one. Is it safe to skip intermediate version and run latest?

Which files should be backuped before upgrade process?

Discussion and Answer

I recommend installing the BackupRestorePlugin on your TWiki-4.2 to create the archive file, then import that into your new TWiki.
