Hello Again!
OK, I resolved my problems with not being able to view any TWiki pages by editing the
TWikiPreferences topic and removing the offending code.
HOWEVER...
I want to change the vertical size of the header and the header art, but when I create a simple(?) template with the code given below, and try to use it, The entire header gets blown away:
%TMPL:INCLUDE{"view"}%
%TMPL:DEF{"topbardimensions"}%
#patternTopBar,
#patternClearHeaderCenter,
#patternClearHeaderLeft,
#patternClearHeaderRight,
#patternTopBarContentsOuter {
height:96px; /* top bar height; make room for header columns */
overflow:hidden;
}
%TMPL:END%
I tried using it as "COVER=" and as part of a "SKIN=" statement in the prefs, but it's just not working for me.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Andy

Discussion and Answer
For testing I apply a USERSTYLEURL on this page instead of creating a template. I overload the default 80px height of the
TopMenuSkin with 120px that has a light yellow background.

If you use a custom template / skin: The
TopMenuSkin redefines the
%TMPL:DEF{"topbardimensions"}%, so you need to prefix your skin in the SKIN setting, such as
Set SKIN =myskin, topmenu, pattern

Hello Peter,
Thanks, this works OK, but will this change affect everyone on the web, or just me? I need it to affect everyone.
Also, I still can't change the WEBHEADERART according to the instructions received with the package. It just doesn't work.
Thanks,
Andy

USERSTYLEURL takes effect for everyone if done in your Main.TWikiPreferences.
The
TopMenuSkin uses it's own header art. If you use that skin you need to customize that skin.

Any place in particular? I have no idea where to begin to do this. My apologies for needed my hand held...
Thanks,
Andy

See
TopMenuSkin and follow the top-bar link.

That link has no page attached to it, if it's this one:
TopMenuSkinTopBar. If it's not, then I don't understand your instruction.
Sorry to be such a bother, but this one is giving me nightmares.

The extension repository on TWiki.org does not have all topics of all plugins. Look in your own installation, or on TWiki.org in the TWiki06x00 web for default extensions.
