SID-02457: pattern skin not working in TWiki 6.1 installation

I have installed Twiki 6.1 version and configured. But pattern skin is working. Like topicaction buttons simply appearing as links and attachment table is not so good looking. I tried changing layout/style.css files still looks same. No idea which template is working and why pattern skin is not working.

Added TWIKILAYOUTURL = /p/pub/TWiki06x01/PatternSkin/layout.css TWIKISTYLEURL = /p/pub/TWiki06x01/PatternSkin/style.css TWIKICOLORSURL = /p/pub/TWiki06x01/PatternSkin/colors.css SKIN = tagme, topmenu, pattern

Note: Manifest files of pattern skin are present in root folder.

Not sure what is going on with your installation. Let's test here:

I also added an attachment to test the attachment table. As you can see all looks Ok here.

Could this be a some mix-up with old and new installation? If you installed a new TWiki over an old you could get into this issue.

What do you miss from the TopMenuSkin? If it is the sidebar it can be added, see TopMenuSkin

have attached screenshot of my page capture.png . pls have a look. This is my first time installation and did 6.1 version directly. No older version. Yea, no side bar there. Attachment is working, but still layout is very bad. doesn't look as in current page you attached. I have set skin to /data/Main/TWikiPreferences.txt folder. Is that right? Also, twistyplugin is not working at edit help link and attachment link. Guidance from your side would be helpful. Is there any other step to enable pattern skin that I missed out.

do twiki preference to be set in /data/Main/TWikiPreferences.txt correct? or into pub directory. bcoz no twiki preference folder in pub dir.

I had a similiar problem, turned out that what was needed was In the General Path Settings to change the {PubUrlPath}δ setting to be /pub

Using the browser, go to your Main.TWikiPreferences, and add a bullet as follows:

Please find attached captureskin image after adding set skin = pattern preference in TWikiPreferences My general path setting is /pub for {PubUrlPath} variable from first. Still facing issue.

Are you referring to CaptureSKIN.PNG? It looks like your {PubUrlPath} configure setting and/or the corresponding Apache setting is not set properly. Best to use the ApacheConfigGenerator to get the proper settings.
