Question

hello, i have got this about 90% complete. When i edit a page, view the changes it says its done but then when i press the save button it doesnt save. So i am wondering if it is a permission issue, if it is can you tell me what i have to change the permissions on?

Answer

In case anyone else encounters this, this is how you debug:

1. Check your Apache logs for errors
2. Check the warning.txt in twiki/data for errors
3. Check that all files in twiki/data and twiki/pub are readable/writable by the apache user
4. Check that all files in twiki/data are RCS locked by the apache user (see the installation instructions)
