Question

When using the COMMENT plugin, how do I make the output unsigned? I want to allow anonymous comments.

Just define your own comment template. it's described in the doc.

Well, there is more to it. You need to provide a TWikiGuest account and ask users to login as a TWikiGuest. Alternatively, you could remove authentication all together, but this is not recommended since anybody could change system topics, such as TWikiPreferences.
