Question
I am a newbie here and I've been checking the various webs here for an answer to this question: How do you upload graphics to a topic? I can attach a file, but I want to upload a graphic (like an icon) that will appear in the text of the topic, or at the top of the screen. Does the graphic have to be located in a particular directory? Does the graphic have to be attached to a topic before it can be embedded in the text? Also, the size limitation (50 Kb) is a constraint--does this mean that TWiki cannot display screen shots?
Could someone please answer my questions or direct me to the web where I can find the answers? TIA--

Answer
If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.
Attach an image and checkmark the "Create a link to the attached file" check box. Images will be displayed inline at the bottom of the page. You can edit the page and move the image around.
There is also an attach option in the WYSIWYG editor.
The max size can be configured, see
TWikiPreferences settings. The size limitation is fairly low on twiki.org so that people do not use twiki.org as a file repository. In your own installation you can set it as high as you want.
