Question

Alright, So I got the vm to work. I was in the process of installing a plugin but I ran into a little speed bump. Under configurations, I was able to look at the plugins that were already installed and I wanted to install a new one so I tried the following:

action=FindMoreExtensions which worked perfectly on my regular twiki page but not the vm, I get the following error message

Consulting TWiki.org... To install an extension from this page, click on the link in the 'Action' column. Note that the webserver user has to be able to write files everywhere in your TWiki installation. Otherwise you may see 'No permission to write' errors during extension installation. Answer

ALERT! If you answer a question - or someone answered one of your questions - please remember to edit the page and set the status to answered. The status selector is below the edit box.

Are you referring to TWikiVMDebianStable? That version is based on TWiki Release 4.0.4, e.g. much older than the version you stated. I am not sure why the older TWiki version can't get extensions on twiki.org.

Workaround: Manually install plugins on the shell level. Or, debug the extension install issue.
