Question

Are TWiki-Webs not highly sensitive, very vulnerable and easy to sabotage?

-- RalphGL - 20 Dec 2002

Answer

See SoftSecurity for discussion - even Wikis without hard security manage OK because any vandalism is quickly corrected. TWiki's revision tracking makes it very easy to do this, and it does have 'hard security' as well if you want this - see the docs at TWiki:TWiki.

Wiki sites don't typically get vandalised much, particularly on intranets, for the same reason that people don't spray graffiti on inside of an office building. Even Internet wikis don't seem to have a problem with this.
