Question

I got TWiki Release 4.1.1 installed on Suresupport (which I think is also IDC?).

I got the configure.cfg file to work and resolved all the errors, except CGI::Session which is now a warning.

When I click on the link "browse to the TWiki Webhome" I get this: http://localhost.org/twiki/bin/view.cgi/TWiki/WebHome

and the page says: "Error 404 - File Not Found

Tell me what you were looking for Email Webmaster"

I've looked at all the possbile support topics I could find and searched and can't find anything that addresses this question. The closest thing appeared to be UnmatchedBracketInRegex and I deleted the " but no effect.

Environment

TWiki version: TWikiRelease04x01x01
TWiki plugins: DefaultPlugin, EmptyPlugin, InterwikiPlugin
Server OS: Linux 2.6.14.2-grsec (i686-linux-thread-multi-ld)
Web server: apache (probably most recent version)
Perl version: 5.008008 (linux)
Client OS: Windows XP Pro service pack 2
Web Browser: FireFox
Categories: Installation

Does the file 'view.cgi' exists? Normaly this file has no extension. Sometimes you add the extension 'pl'. This must be filled in in Configure, General Path Settings, ScriptSuffix.

Do you have a SiteName configured? The "localhost.org" bit is either part of your problem, or just a way in which you have obscured the true URL. I just can't tell which one it is...
