Question

Hello, I am trying to dynamically set permissions for the new topics created based on the parent topics.

My parent topic is General. I have a group called GeneralGroup. So whoever creates a topic under General should have the same access permissions as set in GeneralGroup.

This is what I have in the WebTopicEditTemplate.

Set ALLOWTOPICVIEW = Main.Group

When the above is resolved, apparently it comes to GeneralGroup, but the whole string is not coming as a link rather I would see General as a link and Group left out. I want to link the whole string as a link pointing to GeneralGroup Topic than just pointing to General Topic.

Since the new topic is not created yet, If I do Set ALLOWTOPICVIEW = PhaniYenugu and Set ALLOWTOPICCHANGE = PhaniYenugu it works. But If I use Main. (which is supposed to be resolved to the parenttopic for which the user has access) it does not work.....What could be the issue ?
