Question

I have succesfully installed Dakar, but I cannot get Registration to work. After I fill in the details and press submit, I get a "page cannot be displayed" for

http://200.2.1.230/twiki/bin/register/Main/WebHome

The problem was that I did not set up the mail server in configure.

I tried the registration on the Sun/Solaris console, with the nNetscape browser and it presented me with a page showing error messgaes about failure sending the confirmation email. Strangely, IE6 on my windows client did not show that detail.

So, I went back to configure and entered the email server details. Then registration worked ok.
