Question

I believe I've finally got my site up and running. Now I'm in the process of organizing the site.

I went into the edit mode, copied content of the WelcomeGuest page and pasted it into the edit box of my new GettingStarted page.

Everything looks fine except that all my wiki words now have question marks after them.

They don't automatically know that there is already a page for each one.

If I click on a question mark for one, it tries to start a new topic.

It appears that WikiWords in the Main web don't see their pages in the TWiki directory.

Isn't there a way to automatically cause them to "see" their respective topics?

Regards,

Chris Vogel

Answer

The WikiName link does not work between Webs: a topic in an other web will not be "seen" when you enter a WikiName. You have to use the square bracket syntax ( Web.TopicName ) to link between Webs.

Would you have used "move" (under "more" in the default template) instead of copy/paste, TWiki would have catered for the proper linking.

Thanks Marcel!

I'll give it a whirl.

PS. It would if you installed FindElsewherePlugin
