Move the blinking cursor into the big white area (or just left click in that area).

This is where you type your actual e-mail message to send to another person.

If you are used to word-processors, some of the same keystrokes such as cut, paste, and copy work here. Many of the formatting features are the same as word-processing programs such as bold, underline, italics, different fonts, different font sizes and colors as well.

Most e-mail programs even have a spell-checking component that allows you to check the spelling of your text.

When you are finished typing the e-mail message, you click the "Send" button. This will send the e-mail message on its merry way.
