4. Miscellaneous

• Help spread the word to find new contributors. GettingInvolved is a good page to point to.

• ThomasGutzmann stated that first impression was that TWiki is extremely rich, but that richness doesn't reach the first time user. Examples:
  • Profile page consists of three parts which cannot be edited at the same time unless you do a full edit. The users emal address from .htaaccess doesn't appear there.
  • When editing a topic, it would be useful to have certain options like COMMENT, protection or even TOC as checkboxes outside the topic text. They way they can easily be added. Idea of configurable way to make TWikiVariables available in edit mode. For example, the editor could show the 5 most common ones, and a "show more" - the show more could pull the complete list via ajax call.

• MichaelGulitz suggested to add a 'help' Menu in top-bar that points to the documentation topics in the TWiki web and is always available - not only in TWiki web.

I think there is a typo in the date of the meeting:

30th of august is a thursday. So will the meeting be on thursday 30th or on friday 31th ?
