SID-00078: How to copy twiki content from one server to another

Status: Answered Answered TWiki version: 4.2.4 Perl version: as per TWiki_4_2_3_Windows_Installer_up
Category: CategoryHosting Server OS: various Last update: 14 years ago

I have a scenario where I will be setting up a proof of concept for a client. If all goes well, I would like to transfer that poc and all collected entries/content from the demo environment (my laptop) to the client's server. Is this possible and if so how (eg copy selected directories under C:\Program Files\TWiki\twiki\data to the other server?) If possible, are there any implications if changing between operating systems (eg windows to linux).

Thanks!

TWiki has now an easy point & click solution to upgrade TWiki with the help of the BackupRestorePlugin.
