Am I the only person to mention "disability"?
Please do consider disability-access.
I am disabled, which makes everything difficult.
It is extremely difficult to start a website; but, that has become the very reason to do so:
altacalifernia.com/twiki/bin/view/Main/WhatIvefoundonTwiki .
I, generally, do not object to people knowing that I am DonFphrnqTaubPersina; that is fine w/ me.
However, I do try to employ a screenname, often it is "hopiakuta", which is simpler to typewrite.
Although that would certainly be helpful on your website; it is imperative on my new website, as above.
I do, as well, want, as an administrator, to be able to change others' screennames, edit-protect, upload, block, unblock, move, delete, access historylog, & alter various protocol.
I do not like electronic-mail; I've written thousands of messages, in various programs, tried many variations: I do try to avoid it even moreso than swine influenza. However, website-registration often requires it, particularly twiki.
I do want to set my protocol such that if someone registers, then they are registered, no more than that. Having me approve them is something that I would want to wait for, until they would edit a webpage. If their page is not causing a severe problem, then, it could stay.
I do see the news feed instructions; the most prevalent phrase that I can comprehend is " news feed"; beyond that phrase, I am lost.
This site is running TWiki version TWiki-4.3.1, Wed, 29 Apr 2009, build 18054, Plugin API version 1.2
linux godad
Thank You.

Discussion and Answer
TWiki.org has some discussion on accessability for disabled people:
WCAG,
VoluntaryProductAccessibilityTemplate,
UserAccessibilityGuidelines
Other than that, I am not sure I understand your question. Please feel free to reopen this question if needed. Also, as indicated in the registration page on twiki.org, please register with your real first name and last name.
